Roasted Seaweed is called Sushi Nori or Yaki Nori in Japanese. JH Foods Yaki Nori are dried and roasted leaves of algae (seaweed).
Yaki nori is very sweet and mild and is mainly used for preparing sushi. When crumbled the leaves can also serve as excellent herb with a subtle fresh ocean fragrance for fish and seafood dishes.
The thin leaves contain lots of iodine and protein and are delicious as maki with tasty stuffing and sushi rice.
