If you like marinades, we will introduce you to the Asian ones . Depending on what you are cooking as a base ingredient, you will find which marinade is best.

What do marinades do?

They tenderize the food as well as add flavor to it.

How long do I need to marinate?

For salty-sweet marinades you can leave them for up to 24 hours.

For acidic marinades, 5-6 hours will give the best flavor and texture, but even a few minutes can be enough (more than 6 hours will have the opposite effect, as the acidity will harden the base material)

How do marinades work?

Marinades must be added to our base material, after we have cut it into small pieces. The ideal marinade ratio is 120ml to 500g of ingredients.

A basic 7-ingredient marinade that can be used in any ingredient is:

Salamat Marinade Style for 500g of ingredients

3 tbsp Garlic and Ginger Puree

2 tbsp Soy Sauce

2 Tbsp Oyster Sauce For Vegetarian diets use Vegetarian Oyster
