Bao Buns with Crispy Chicken

INGREDIENTS :


For the chicken:

1/3 cup Gochujang

1/2 cup Red pepper flakes

1/3 cup potato flour

1 tbsp rice vinegar

500 gr. chicken leg in small pieces

2 beaten eggs

3 tbsp sunflower oil or rice oil

1/2 cup brown sugar

2 chopped green onions

Salt & Pepper


For the salad:

1 cup cabbage

1 cup carrot

Chives

4 tbsp kewpie mayonnaise

1 tsp miso

Salt , pepper & garlic



INSTRUCTIONS :



For the chicken:

1. Preheat the oven to 180 ° c.

2. Season the chicken with salt and pepper and add potato flour until it covers all the chicken pieces.

3. Dip the bites one by one in the beaten eggs.

4. Heat the sunflower oil in a pan and spread the bites. Fry for 3 minutes on each side.

5. Once all the bites are ready, put them in the pan.

6. In a bowl mix gochujang, sugar, vinegar and flakes.

7. Αdd the sauce to the chicken and cook for 35 minutes! Garnish with sesame seeds.


For the salad:

1. Finely chop all the vegetables and add mayonnaise, miso, salt, pepper and garlic.

2. Cover and leave in the fridge.



For the composition:

1. Steam the bao buns. If you have a steamer, it will take 10 minutes. Otherwise wrap each bao bun separately and put it in the microwave for 1 minute.

2. Fill the bao buns with the ingredients and garnish with sesame seeds and crispy onion!
