KOREAN KIMCHI SOUP

INGREDIENTS FOR 3

♦ 1 packet Korean Kimchi Soup Spice Paste (Asian Home Gourmet)
♦ 2 ¼ cups (500 ml) water
♦ 150g (5 oz) sliced meat (chicken or beef)
♦ 100g (3.5 oz) Chinese cabbage or Kimchi

♦ 150g (5.3 oz) firm tofu, sliced into 1cm (0.4 inch) thickness rectangle (or other shapes you may prefer)

♦ 1 small onion, cut into bite-sized pieces
♦ Chopped spring onion as garnish 


COOKING INSTRUCTIONS


1. Bring water to boil.

2. Add onion and Spice Paste, stir to mix well

3. Add meat, Kimchi and tofu bring to boil

4. Reduce heat, simmer uncovered for 7 minutes or until cooked.

5. Garnish

6. Serve hot and enjoy!


Cooking Tip: You can add also, udon noodles, placed in the last few minutes of cooking, 200g!
