Dried mushrooms are an essential ingredient in Asian cuisine.
Enokitake or enoki mushrooms are usually added to salads, soups, stir-fry dishes, broths and sauces.
To be used, they must be rinsed and covered with boiling water for 10 minutes or until the required texture is achieved. After that, the mushrooms must be drained and all the hard stems attached to the bottom removed.
Mushrooms are very healthy, full of vitamins and are said to help lower blood pressure!
